Delivery & Returns

At Cheshire Gun Room, we offer free shipping on all orders over £100. Offer applies to UK customers only.

Offer excludes; pellets, air compressors, cabinets, shotguns, rifles, air rifles, air pistols, pistols, antique pistols, blank firing guns, deactivated guns. Offer excludes the following areas: Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands and Northern & Southern Ireland.

  • From receiving your order we aim to deliver within 2-3 working days, this is subject to product availability.

  • International orders are usually delivered within 28 days.

CLICK & COLLECT

If an item is in stock, you can choose to collect this from either our Stockport or Bolton store. Please contact us to check availability. Once your order is ready for collection, someone from our sales team will be in touch.

COLLECTION ONLY ITEMS

Certain products on our website can only be collected in store as they require proof of ID or a firearms / shotgun certificate before they are handed over such as shotguns, rifles, airguns and moderators. Simply check out as normal selecting your preferred store for collection and someone from our sales team will be in touch when your item is ready to collect. Please don't forget to bring your proof of ID or firearms / shotgun certificate upon collection.

RFD TRANSFERS

We can transfer collection only items to another Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD) for an additional cost of £30. Simply select "Third Party Dealer" from the delivery options drop-down and enter your chosen RFD's details when adding a collection only item to your basket then check out as usual. We will contact your chosen RFD shop for a copy of their RFD certificate then send the gun to the shop ready for you to collect. As soon as your chosen RFD shop receives the goods, they should contact you for collection at your convenience, please note the receiving RFD may charge you an additional fee for this service which you will pay upon collection.

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

Some items aren't always kept in stock or are made to order. Special order items may have extended delivery timescales, please contact us for more information.

Special Order items or Made to Order items cannot be cancelled or refunded at any time.

PRE-ORDER / BACK ORDER ITEMS

You can place a pre-order for items that haven't yet been released or come into stock, you can either pay a 10% deposit or pay for the item in full. As soon as the item comes into stock we will contact you for collection (collection only items) or your order will be dispatched within 24 hours of us receiving the stock. If an item is out of stock and will be for a number of weeks, your order will be considered a back order and the goods will be dispatched within 24 hours of us receiving the stock.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

Cheshire Gun room offer a 14 day no-quibble return policy for all online orders within the UK. To return an item please contact our mail order team on 0161 480 8222 who will advise you accordingly.

Customers that wish to cancel their order and return goods must notify Cheshire Gun Room within 14 working days of receiving them. Goods must then be returned to us within 21 days. Please note if you are returning goods that are not faulty, you will have to pay for the postage and we will not reimburse you for the original postage on the order. Delivery and return postage charges are only refundable where goods are faulty or damaged.

Once goods have been received and providing they are in an AS SOLD state as determined by Cheshire Gun Room, a full refund will be made within 30 days. However, if the item has been used, altered or damaged, in a way that reduces the value of the item, we may deduct an appropriate amount from your final refund to cover the loss in the item's value.

Faulty goods; in the event of goods becoming faulty the customer should inform Cheshire Gun Room LTD immediately in writing (email, letter) and return the goods at once for refund (within 30 days), repair or replacement. 

In the unlikely event that goods are faulty on arrival the customer must make Cheshire Gun Room LTD aware within a reasonable time and be able to prove that the goods were delivered in this state.  Once this has been established we will then decide on the best course of action.  This can include, but not limited to, posting the item back to us and refunding the cost or having the item collected by courier.
